PROGRAM MANAGER - High Needs Youth Services Program - Tustin Family Campus

Rite of Passage will begin operating the High Needs Youth Services Program at the
Tustin Family Campus in Orange County in March 2012. This program is comprised
of two large group homes; each residence has the capacity to accommodate 6
students and includes an attached two bedroom apartment for live-in staff.

The High Needs Youth Services Program is designed to provide intensive treatment
for up to (12) Orange County dependent youth consisting of (6) adolescent boys
and (6) adolescent girls (housed separately), ages 12 to 18 years at the time
of intake. These youth are typically classified as Severely Emotionally
Disturbed (SED). The length of stay is determined on a case-by-case basis to
ensure that the youth’s needs are met and placement success is enhanced.

Staffing is needed for the following positions:

PROGRAM MANAGER: Master’s Degree required. LCSW or LMFT preferred. Four years of related experience in residential facility management. Duties will include direct care and case management. This position will also require a Group Home Administrator license which may be secured after hire. Exempt position. Salary: DOE

HOUSEPARENT: High school diploma or equivalent. BA/BS preferred. Two years of prior professional cooking experience preferred. Knowledge of basic budgetary
management.  Hourly, non-exempt position.  Competitive wage.

COACH COUNSELORS (YOUTH WORKERS) AND AWAKE NIGHT STAFF: BA/BS preferred with at least one year of successful prior experience working with at-risk juveniles.  Both are hourly, non-exempt positions.  Youth Worker: $30,000-$32,000/year DOE.  Awake Night Staff: Competitive wage.

CONTRACT THERAPISTS: FT or PT. Must have current California licensure.

The candidates selected to staff this program will be hired and trained in February
2012 with the program opening 3/7/12.

(Oracle) Sycamore High Impact Program, California (San Adreas): Sierra Ridge
Academy, Maryland (Keymar): Silver Oak Academy, Nevada (Yerington): Silver
State Academy, (Las Vegas): Evening Learning Center, (Minden): Qualifying
Houses, and our Colorado Locations: (Watkins): Ridge View Youth Services
Center, (Denver): Betty Marler Youth Services Center, (Durango): Robert E.
DeNier Youth Services Center, and (Idaho Springs): Qualifying House.

New Locations:

In addition to the Tustin Family Campus, ROP will also be operating in Louisiana
with the opening of a new charter school in the Orleans Parish for the
2012-2013 school year.
